Tribe Proudly Sponsors the TELUS Nancy Greene Alpine Classic at Sun Peaks
At Tribe, community isn’t something we talk about — it’s something we show up for.
Which is why we’re proud to sponsor the 2026 TELUS Nancy Greene Alpine Classic at Sun Peaks Resort on Saturday January 31st.
This isn’t just a ski race. It’s a long-standing community tradition that brings together locals, businesses, families, and friends for a weekend of friendly competition, shared meals, and a whole lot of heart.
More Than a Race
Now in its 29th year, the TELUS Nancy Greene Alpine Classic raises funds for causes that directly strengthen the Sun Peaks community. This year marks a major milestone — the event will surpass $1 million raised for local charities. Those funds have helped support the Sun Peaks Community Health Centre and are now focused on advancing education and community spaces for the growing number of families who call Sun Peaks home. Funds raised at the event will go towards building community facilities in a new school for students currently learning in portable classrooms. The vision is of a campus including classrooms as well as community spaces that will bring people of all ages together.
That’s the kind of impact we’re proud to be part of.
Why Tribe Got Involved
As a property management company, we spend our days working behind the scenes to support communities — helping buildings run smoothly so people can focus on living well.
Sponsoring events like this feels like a natural extension of that work.
The Alpine Classic is about:
- Bringing people together
- Supporting long-term community infrastructure
- Creating places where families, neighbours, and future generations can thrive
Those values align closely with how we think about community management — not just maintaining spaces, but investing in the people who live, work, and grow within them.

Why Sport Matters to Community
Sport has a unique way of bringing people together. Long before we know each other’s names, we cheer side-by-side, share chairlifts, trade high-fives at the finish line, and celebrate small wins together. In mountain towns especially, sport often sits at the heart of community life — creating shared experiences, strengthening connections, and giving neighbours a reason to come together beyond their front doors.
Events like the TELUS Nancy Greene Alpine Classic do more than put skis on snow. They create moments of belonging, encourage participation across generations and skill levels, and remind us that strong communities are built through shared experiences. That sense of connection — of showing up together — is exactly what makes neighbourhoods feel like home.
Rooted in Sun Peaks (Literally)
Tribe Management currently provides strata management services to two Sun Peaks communities — Sundance Lodge and Hearthstone Lodge — alongside properties throughout the broader Thompson-Okanagan. Our approach to management focuses on six key areas: clear communication, strong visibility, responsive service, easy access, education, and long-term planning — all with the goal of supporting communities not just today, but well into the future.
Our connection to Sun Peaks is also personal. Aren Green, our local Strata Manager, lived in the area for years and previously worked in maintenance at Sundance Lodge before joining Tribe. It’s one of those full-circle stories we love — and a reminder that great community management starts with people who truly know the place they serve.
See You at Sun Peaks
We’re grateful to support an event that reflects what makes mountain communities so special — connection, generosity, and people looking out for one another, and we’re proud to sponsor the TELUS Nancy Greene Alpine Classic again this year and support the important fundraising work of the Sun Peaks Education Society and the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation — organizations that help strengthen the fabric of this mountain community we’re lucky to be part of.
We’ll be cheering loudly, celebrating community wins, and enjoying being part of something bigger than ourselves.
Because at Tribe, community is always worth showing up for. 💙⛷️
