Living Shangri-La: A New Chapter Begins with Tribe
We are pleased to announce Living Shangri-La, located at 1111 Alberni Street in Vancouver, is now a Tribe Community!
Built in 2008, this luxurious 62-storey building, located moments from our Downtown Vancouver office, is truly a symbol of excellence. Developed in partnership by Peterson Group and Westbank Projects, Shangri-La Vancouver includes residences, a 5-star hotel, as well as other upscale service offerings all packaged in one of B.C.’s tallest buildings.
Living Shangri-La Residents have access to top-tier amenities such as an outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub, fitness center, and a 24/7 concierge. Steps from their front door, Residents at Shangri-La Living can enjoy Offsite, an outdoor exhibition space curated by the Vancouver Art Gallery with installations rotating regularly. The prime location of Shangri-La Vancouver puts means Residents are moments away from several high-end stores, a diverse array of restaurants, and the world-renowned Stanley Park.
When selecting Tribe as a partner, the Strata Council considered our experience with the unique composition of Shangri-La Vancouver as an important asset. Beyond the hotel, commercial, and retail units the single tower includes a second Strata Corporation —Shangri-La Estates. Tribe has proudly managed Shangri-La Estates since 2018.
Another key factor taken into account when partnering with Tribe was our dedication to providing innovative technology-enabled services to Communities. Our collaborative approach to supporting clients along with our use of technology, including the Tribe Home Community Platform, aligned with the Council’s values.
Our Community Manager hit the ground running working with the Council to establish priorities and explore future projects. Since onboarding, we have completed important annual maintenance, such as fire safety deficiency repairs. We've diligently worked with Council to ensure any projects commenced prior to our management continue to proceed without delay.
Guided by a Regional Director and Community Manager, our commitment to providing Community Management with Heart to Shangri-La Living is unwavering. We are passionate about cultivating strong relationships and enriching the sense of community for all Residents.
